As a resident (Member), ClearAccess puts you in control of who visits your home and how your household members access the estate.

Managing Visitors

The primary way you'll use ClearAccess is to create guest passes. This ensures your guests aren't delayed at the gate.

Creating a Guest Pass

  1. Log in to the ClearAccess portal or use the WhatsApp integration.

  2. Select "Create Pass".

  3. Enter the visitor's name and the date/time of the visit.

  4. (Optional) Specify if they are driving and enter a vehicle plate number.

  5. Send the generated QR code or link to your guest.

Reusable Passes

For regular visitors like family members or delivery services, you can create a reusable pass. This allows the same code to be scanned multiple times within a set period.


Managing Your Household (Associates)

You can invite family members, domestic staff, or other residents of your home as Associates.

  • Associates share your household's access privileges.
  • They can generate their own access codes to enter/exit the estate.
  • They use your central household wallet for any applicable fees.

How to invite an Associate:

  1. Go to Settings > Household.
  2. Enter the name and phone number of the person you want to invite.
  3. They will receive a link to join your household.

Wallet and Payments

Some estates require a small fee for visitor access or use the platform to collect estate levies.

Topping up your Wallet

  1. Navigate to the Wallet section.
  2. Click "Top Up".
  3. Enter the amount and complete the payment using Paystack.
  4. Your balance is updated instantly and can be used for guest passes or levy payments.

Using WhatsApp

You can generate guest passes without even opening the app. Simply send a message to the ClearAccess WhatsApp number (e.g., "Guest: John Doe") and our bot will reply with a pass instantly.
