Billing and Wallet

Understand how pricing, plans, collections, and the wallet work.

ClearAccess offers flexible pricing for every Organization Type. Estates are the primary profile; Schools, Offices, Shared Spaces, Mixed Use organizations, Events, and Other controlled environments use the same plan catalogue and are charged by operational usage and enabled capabilities rather than by residential-unit count.

Subscription Plans

The pricing page is the source of truth for current plan availability and prices. The catalogue has four plans:

  • Free: Start accountable access operations with no subscription fee, including 5,000 Guest Pass generations monthly.
  • Starter: Formalize daily operations across more Access Points, with a one-week trial.
  • Pro: Add stronger governance, richer auditability, and advanced operations.
  • Custom: Sales-led rollout, support, and integration terms.

You can manage your subscription and view invoices in the Billing Settings section (available to Owners only).

Organization collections and settlement

Organizations can collect payments through Paystack, including cards, bank transfers, USSD, and Apple Pay where available. Supported settlement currencies are NGN, ZAR, GHS, KES, XOF, and USD.

For eligible collection flows, ClearAccess uses Paystack split payments. The platform covers the Paystack transaction charge. The Organization sees one simple ClearAccess transaction charge based on its plan—Free 5%, Starter 4.5%, or Pro 4%, each capped at ₦10,000 per successful settlement. The charge is deducted from the Organization's settlement, typically at T+1 where the settlement flow supports it. Custom terms are agreed separately.

The Wallet

The wallet lets authorized Organization Members fund access and collection workflows. In Estates, this commonly includes resident guest fees, Estate Dues, and household associates. Other Organization Types can apply the same wallet primitives to their own approved collection policies.

What is it used for?

  • Visitor Access Fees: An Organization may charge for a visitor admission under its policy.
  • Estate Dues: Recurring dues are an Estate-only extension and are not assumed for Schools, Offices, Shared Spaces, Mixed Use, or Events.
  • Delegated spending: An assigned household or space relationship may permit another person to use the responsible member's wallet.

Adding Funds

Residents can top up their wallet instantly using Paystack. We support:

  • Debit/Credit Cards
  • Bank Transfers
  • USSD Payments
  • Apple Pay where available through Paystack

Transaction Security

Paystack handles payment credentials and provider processing. ClearAccess stores only the payment references and operational records required to reconcile access and settlement; it does not store card details on its servers.
