Visitor Experience
If you have received an invitation to an estate using ClearAccess, your entry experience will be fast, digital, and secure.
Receiving Your Pass
When a resident invites you, you will typically receive a notification via:
- WhatsApp: A message containing a link to your digital pass.
- SMS: A text message with your 6-digit access code.
- Email: A formal invitation with a calendar attachment.
Your Digital Pass
Clicking the link provided will open your ClearAccess Visitor Pass. This pass includes:
- QR Code: For instant scanning at the gate.
- Access Code: A 6-digit manual fallback code.
- Address: The exact house number or building you are visiting.
- Navigation: A link to open the destination in Google Maps or Waze.
At the Gate
When you arrive at the estate or facility:
- Prepare your code: Have your QR code ready on your phone screen. Increase your screen brightness for better scanning.
- Scan: The security guard will scan your code using their device.
- Verification: The guard may verify your identity or vehicle details against the pass.
- Entry: Once verified, you are cleared for entry. Your host will receive a notification that you have arrived.
Safety and Privacy
- One-Time Use: Most passes are valid for a single entry and exit. Once you leave, the code will no longer work.
- Expiration: Passes have a limited validity window (typically 24 hours). If your pass has expired, please contact your host to generate a new one.
- Data Protection: ClearAccess only shares the minimum necessary information with security personnel to verify your visit. Your contact details remain private.
Troubleshooting
My QR code won't scan. Ensure your screen brightness is high. If it still fails, provide the 6-digit access code to the guard for manual entry.
I didn't receive my code. Contact your host and ask them to resend the invitation or check that they have the correct phone number.
I'm at the wrong gate. Some estates have separate entry points for residents and visitors. Follow the signs for "Visitors" or "Guests."
