ClearCam is the optional camera and event-integration layer around the ClearAccess workflow. It is not a promise of surveillance coverage, continuous recording, automated detection, or a specific camera package.
Start by making Guest Passes, Gate Team verification, and Gate Records work reliably. When an estate has a clear operating need, an approved camera or event source can be connected with documented locations, permissions, and retention expectations.
A controlled integration model
- Choose the source: confirm the camera or event system and the data it can provide.
- Define the boundary: document locations, event types, authorized roles, and retention rules.
- Keep the record connected: link relevant event context to the Gate Record without replacing the gate team's verification decision.
- Review the rollout: keep the integration disabled or unavailable until the estate approves its operating model.

ClearAccess provides the visitor-entry workflow and the integration boundary. Camera storage, analytics, hardware support, and retention depend on the separately configured source and should be confirmed during implementation.
